Join us for a Fourth of July BBQ/Potluck at Dan Szilagyi's house in La Quinta followed by fireworks viewing on the lawn at Southwest Church! Dan will open his doors at 5 PM and we'll start serving up dogs & burgers around 6 PM. NeXus will provide the hot-dogs, burgers & buns. All we ask is that you bring a favorite side dish, dessert or drinks to share. If you can't decide, let's have last names beginning with A-L bring a side dish/salad & last names starting with M-Z bring a dessert or drinks. We'll need things like chopped/sliced onion, tomato & lettuce, fruit & vegetable trays, chili, cheese, chips & dips, etc. Kids are welcome! Swimming is available, bring a suit and towel. Around 8:30 PM, we'll caravan over to the lawn at Southwest to watch the fireworks displays going on at Indian Wells C.C. & P.D. Civic Ctr Park (fireworks start at 9 PM). You may want to bring a folding beach chair or blanket.
